Easy Digital Downloads Check Payment Gateway Addon is designed to allow you to accept handwritten checks and other forms of manual payments for digital download purchases. The gateway includes an additional set of options that allow you to display instructions to the buyer on how to complete their purchase.
When a user makes a purchase and chooses to pay by check, the purchase is created with a pending status. Once the check is received, the website administrator will log in and mark the purchase as “Complete” which will trigger the purchase receipt / download links emailed to you.
